Yesterday we swam out to the deep edge of Heron Island's reef. The water was a rich blue, the corals were healthy and the reef fish were everywhere, but the highlight was this guy... Myself and @kristie_lawrence were freediving the drop off, minding our own business when this Green Sea Turtle came over out of the blue just to hang out.. It saw us from about 20 metres away then came over and swam beside us for a while.. so relaxed. These are the moments 👌 A post shared by Marine Bio | UW Photographer (@johnny_gaskell) on Oct 14, 2017 at 2:49am PDT
